Pastor Sheryl’s Story
Pastor Sheryl’s love for learning and for the Word of God began at an early age. During her formative years, the Bible captured her heart and curiosity in a profound way. While in college, she lived alone for two years and would often spend entire days reading and studying Scripture, sometimes losing track of time as she immersed herself in God’s Word. It was during this season that she began to truly understand the depth, power, and life-changing truth found in the Bible.
A significant spiritual influence in Pastor Sheryl’s life was her grandfather, whose deep faith and unmistakable joy left a lasting impression on her. She recognized that the joy he carried was rooted in his unwavering relationship with God, and she desired that same joy for herself. His faith was part of a generational legacy—her great-grandfather founded the church where she grew up in Key West, Florida. In fact, Pastor Sheryl’s childhood home was only about thirty steps from the church doors, making ministry a natural and constant part of her upbringing.
Over the years, Pastor Sheryl has served in a variety of ministry roles, from small congregations of about fifty members to leading and shepherding groups within large churches where more than four hundred people were entrusted to her care. While she possesses a natural gift for leadership and administration, her deepest calling has always been teaching the Word of God in a way that is clear, engaging, and relevant to everyday life.
Pastor Sheryl carries a deep passion for the transforming power of Scripture. She firmly believes that when people truly understand God’s Word, their lives can be radically changed. This conviction fuels her teaching and ministry. She considers it both a privilege and an honor to serve God by sharing His Word and helping others discover His love, truth, and purpose for their lives.
